This post is here to keep my works safe from the cold, hard beginning of the queue. Ever think about how ‘queue’ is just the letter ‘q’ followed by four silent letters? What’s up with that, I ask you. I’m not about that sort of linguistic tomfoolery. Good, simple sound-to-letter translation is what I like, none of these unnecessary letters and obnoxious, Byzantine rules that it takes you twelve years or more to learn.

Too bad I’m a native English speaker, I suppose. This is not the language for people who like that sort of thing.
